Character Concepts

Just some character concepts I'd been messing around with recently.

Ace Of Spades An Anti-Hero/Villian character of mine that I'd had an idea for for a while but I found it really hard to get her down on paper. D:
Valentina Silver A pirates (kinda fan characterish POTC as well) character.

Certainly good pictures! I always find that a picture, when not used as an excuse not to write up a description, is a brilliant way of bringing your characters to life that much more!

Oooh, nice concepts! I love Ace of Spade's goggles! And yay, Pirates of the Caribbean! I love concept art. ^_^ It's so cool to see characters in their beginning stages like that. I hope to one day be a concept artist actually.

Thanks and good luck. I've thought about if I ever end up going down the art career path I might try concept art/illustration or even comic book work. Or animation but that would depend if I could ever find anywhere to learn it around here.

Thanks! :] Oh yeah, both those would be cool. There are quite a lot of schools now that have programs like that. I go to the Institute of Art. They also have an animation program as well, but I'm not sure where they're all located.

I'm in the UK but something tells me I'm not likely to find that many places around where I am. Chances are I'd only find really limited stuff and most likley 3D which is not the kind of animation I'm interested in.
