I draw deliciously androgynous men. Yes.

I technically have a studio artblog too (I'm one half of VICE, so keep that name in mind when you see some sexy biseinen-filled art out there), but I'm in the process of revamping and moving that, so I won't go on about that. D:

But yeah, my recent stuff has been all over the place. My current sig has a picture I can't exactly link to because of the language content, but... it's up there. XD Besides that, I did a four-piece 'watercolor' set with busts of characters from a story I'm doing:

Yeeeah, other than that there's a bunch more crap old and new in my gallery. YUP YUP.
And no crit please. Lately I'm not in the mood for that; I can see what's wrong with my work, and I'm working it out on my own. XDDD

I just adore your art, Calix! :3 I actually tried doing something similar once (see the image City Syren on my DA), but it came out horribly. How do you do it?? What program do you use? You have some mad skills, girl!

And ooooh, I love the hair in that, Syren. It isn't horrible at all. <33 I'm pretty sure anyone who takes a casual glance at my stuff knows I'm some crazy hair addict. XD

As for programs, I prefer freehand drawing, so I use Corel Painter. Photoshop I only use to touch things up; I think it's way too mechanical to do actual artwork with. >o<

Ahh, yeah Photoshop isn't that great for the lineart. It is a pretty technical program. I believe I have Corel painter though somewhere, so maybe I should give it a try. I just love how smooth and soft all your artwork looks.

It's worth a try... most people still prefer Photoshop, but I would never use Photoshop like that. Tried, and don't like it. With Painter, it's just like holding a pencil and doodling away. XD
