Dogs vs Cats

Ah, the age-old debate. Which animal do you favor? Any particular reason, or do you just plain like them more?


Personally, I love both dogs and cats, along with pretty much all animals. I've owned both as well. I do, however, enjoy dogs more than cats, but of course, there are exceptions on both ends. My favorite dog is a Pomeranian, and my favorite cat is a rag doll. ^.^

I've never actually had a dog but many cats have all made their home in mine.

I love both equally as animals on this planet so I will refrain from voting.

Cats are the more independant creatures and are so fun because you know they're just being cute and cuddly to manipulate you into giving them food, but Dogs are the loyal and playful animals that you can always rely on.

I'm definitely going with dogs. I used to have a cat, and I swear, cats must have been created by the devil himself. -.-''

Ok I'm exaggerating, there's been a few cats that are nice. But seriously, almost all the cats I know...are EVIL. And I mean hardcore evil. My cat was evil, my cousins IS evil. And my friends cat just doesn't like anyone, but Shadow won't bite or anything. But he's not playful.

I guess that's the other problem. Most the cats I know, don't like to play. I want something I can play with!

I like them both for different reasons, but I'd say I've always liked dogs just a little more, I have no idea why though.

I've owned both and pet wise I think I like cats more, because they don't necessarily require rhe 24/7 attention dogs do. I do also know how evil cats can be after spending two weeks working in a boarding cattery with a little kitty that must have been the reincarnation of Satan...

Gah! This question's way too hard, haha. I have had both dogs and cats throughout my life. I've even had a chinchilla at one point. I love all animals, so yeah this question’s hard. Either way, if I absolutely had to chose, I would probably go the dog route.

They both have good and bad qualities, but dogs have just always pulled at my heart a little more than cats. I would love to have a Siberian husky one day. TJ said we could, so I’m all excited about it, hehe.

Lol aw, I know, it is hard to choose! I'm like you, SS, since we both love all kinds of animals. ^^

Oooh! And I love Siberian huskies too! They are gorgeous dogs. That'd be really neat to get one someday.

I had a half husky, half wolf when I was younger - she was beautiful, and very hyper.

Honestly, both have their downfalls. Cats are very lap oriented, while dogs love to play. It's just a matter of how active you are, I think. Dogs also require more attention, but cats are somewhat aloof.
