Reading anything at the moment (books, manga, etc.)? Just finish something or about to start? Tell us all about it here~ ^^
Right now I'm upset because I have nothing to read. I'm craving some manhwa series I have but the next volumes don't come out for a while. Waaaah. I hate waiting. XD

Re: Currently Reading
(Have you ever heard of Jack Frost? It's an interesting, perverted manhwa that can be found on OneManga...
)
Manga: As I've said in my introduction post, I'm reading Hellsing (Kouta Hirano), and I'm on chapter 47 out of 93. Once I've plowed through it, I can enjoy the wonderful fanart(bad me, looking at non-canon fanart!) of nasumaru and anubismito in peace.
Book: I'm also reading On Writing by Stephan King. He's written some strange 'snapshots' of some memories in there. His toolbox and tips on writing are something to drool over as well. ('Salem's Lot is my favorite book by him)

I've only read a couple chapters, but it looks like a highschool setting where there's these rival gangs of supernatural forces battling it out for panty shots.

Re: Currently Reading
The last thing I read was "Small Favor" by Jim Butcher.
I HIGHLY suggest Butcher, especially his Dresden series. I haven't read Codex Alegra, a bit too fantasy for my taste-buds, but I've heard from a very dependable source that they're good.
But then again we get back to the point I was making two seconds ago, ANYTHING by Butcher is good.

Re: Currently Reading
Right now I'm reading the "Morrowind: GOTY Strategy Guide", again. It's a surpringly good read. Hard to describe, but if you've ever played Morrowind, this should be nearly as captivating as your normal novel.
If you want a "real" book, though, my most recent is Rendesvous with Rama, this being my fourth or fifth time going through. I'm currently looking for Rama II. Both are by Arthur C. Clarke.

Re: Currently Reading
Finally read something, despite it not being a comic book. xD I needed to read a real book for once; well, as real as mindless BL smut can be. Hahaha.
Called Eternal Love by Takaoka Mizumi. It was all right. Not enough character interaction for me, though. >: Totally hot, royal seme and a hopeless uke, and so much more could've been done with them...! The illustrations were totally delicious though; Jisshouji Yukariko did a sexy job on those. Mmm.

I need to read a real book for once too. I really don't even know what's good. Guess it depends what you're into. I love to browsing bookstores for a long time though, especially with a coffee in hand. ^^

Re: Currently Reading
*sighs* ... I wish I still had A Necessary Evil by Alex Kava. (Religion kink)
At least I can still read through Ghoul by Micheal Slade! It's a real head turner. Once you think you have the plot figured out, trouble arises and adds to the mystery. Hemophilia, Necrophilia, Schizophrenia, Cthulhu, Satanic rituals, Corruption, etc... The ending has quite the twist as well.
(Ohh, Calix, what kind of BL do you normally read? Is it the type where the couple/couple-to-be both have feminine qualities, one with feminine qualities, or both are MANLY through and though?)

Re: Currently Reading
I don't like bara-type manly men, the sort of thing you get in everyday non-yaoi gay fiction. Yech, turns me right off and grosses me out. No offense to people who like that stuff. XD I like pretty men, either in the middle (beautiful but masculine) or totally girly, cute types. So I read those. D:
Right now I've nothing to read and it makes me sad because I have long breaks at school. ;o;

Re: Currently Reading
Well now that I've finished all the goods series (Twilight, Harry Potter, The Gemma Doyle Trilogy), I'm haivng to find kind of random books that I've been suggested to read, or just kind of sounds interesting.
Currently I'm in 3 books (Silly me. XD)
1. Wuthering Heights
2. Inkspell (2nd book to Inkheart)
3. Stardust
I've been looking around for other books too! Which Port Saint Lucie DOESN'T HAVE BECAUSE OUR LIBRARY IS SMALLER THAN MY BATHROOM (
)!
The first one is, Voyage of the Basset, and then The 10th Kingdom. I'd love to find them, but alas, I have been unable too.

Re: Currently Reading
I am always reading books, it is like food for the brain.
Now that I've worked my way through the 32 Discworld books I have started on the Horus Heresy series of the Warhammer 40,000 Universe. Thrilling, amazing books if I do say so myself!

'Guards Guards'
'Going Postal'
'Reaper Man'
'Maurice and his Educated Rodents'
'Mort'
I think that's all but I have quite a large collection amassing around my house hopefully I can get through them XD
Anyway Tempest, who is your favourite Discworld character? I think mine is Death.
