Advertising

Well, I made my own EthereaLights flyer (using Mac's Pages program through iWork), printed it off, and it's now pinned to the bulletin board in the student lounge at my school. I'm not sure that will help with getting any more traffic, but it did seem like a theme people at my school would be interested in. (It's an art school.) So, we'll see!

If anyone that's already a member knows of anyone else who might be interested in this theme or would just care to advertise for us, that would be great! I'd really love to get this place going in the near future and to see the member list grow. After all, in order to role play, we need people! So, yes! Please do keep this place in mind.

Grr, I don't understand this, but every time I create a flyer and have it approved to be put up in the student lounge at my college, it gets taken down like the day after. (Okay, I've only made 2 flyers before, but still.) I went in there today and it was no longer up. I don't know WHY. It was approved and had their little stamp on it. I would think the only ones that would get taken down are the ones that weren't approved.

So, guess I shouldn't even bother with that any more. I'm not sure where else I could hang a flyer for this message board though, except perhaps the library?

Could it be perhaps that someone really wanted to remember it or something? I dunno.

Oh well, I had thought of that while making my flyers. I have those little pieces you can tear away at the bottom, each with the name and the address to the forums. So, there were enough for roughly around 10 people or so. XD

Well, we certainly have members here. I think it's just a matter of convincing all of them to become active... XD (That includes all but one of our moderators, in addition.)

Yeah, I noticed recently that my flyer is still up. That's strange that I didn't see it before lol. I don't know if I was blind or if it got covered by another flyer or what! Lol

Anyway, I noticed that all the little pieces of paper at the bottom of my flyer had been taken (the strips that have the website name and address on them), so I'm going to have to make a new flyer again! That's a good thing. I'll probably wait to have it approved and put up though until next quarter begins.

Ahh! I've been to the 5th floor Student Services (I think that's what it's called?) office 3 or 4 times now to try and get my new flyer approved so that I can put it up in the lounge. So far, each and every time, it's been locked and no one's around. Why is that? Does anyone else from my school know why? It kinda suck lol.

Oooh, animation. I'm terrible with animating. Good luck with finishing it!!
