Should the topic icons be changed?

This is a feedback poll, so please add your input!

I was thinking about changing the topic icons - these:







I was wanting to do something unique and to this theme (possibly with something from space), but also, these standard icons we have currently are well done.

What do you think?

It was the artist in me that made the idea pop into my head

Alrighty, well, we have new icons.

There's a pixely bit around them that needs cutting out and it's slightly too large, but I'm okay with it otherwise

Alright, cool. I sized them down some. Since they're gif's though, they're going to be pixely.

Then change the pixely bits to match the background colour >.>;

Yikes, well that won't work either. I went in manually and replaced all the darker borders, but once the border around the icons are gone, you couldn't even tell the moons were there. >.> It just looked like a slightly greyish blob.

Hm, well Tony/onenitedrive thinks he might be able to create new icons that are better. We'll see. If not, I may end up just switching back to those originals.


EDIT: Well, Tony actually made some icons for us! They're in the same square-like shapes, but with a planet inside. Be sure to thank him! He even animated the Popular icons in Flash too. =]

Ah, no need to thank me "be sure to thank him!" that kinda of sounds like something your mom would say It gave me something to do for the evening. I hope everyone likes them
