I don't condone owning a wild animal, especially a lion, but this video is really sweet. My mom sent it to me. Unfortunately, there are more wild animals like tigers in the world being kept as pets than there are in the wild. Most of which end up dying from neglect or being killed at the hands of their human owners. I really do not think it's wise to own a wild animal, even if you are able to keep it outside in a cage. I'm sure you guys have seen on the news lately the lady that was attacked by a pet chimpanzee (see this video).
That said, really cute lion!

Re: Lion pet that remembers owners
Very sweet, but I agree entirely with you Syren.
Man kind needs to stop being so arrogant in believing that it can control the nature of everything on this planet. However this wasn't bad because they did return the lion to Africa and he turned out fine.
PS: Repped you for sweet video.

Yes, exactly. It was so wonderful too, like you said, that they could return him to the wild! Usually, it's really hard to reintroduce animals into their natural habitat when they've been kept as pets. So, this was really just a great, happy story all around!
Ha yay!
