Hostile Encounter

Alright, as a first sort of role play I really want to introduce my human character and his 'normal' life on Earth. However as the role play progresses things will occur which are quite beyond the scope of a mere character and anyone is welcome to join the role play from the beginning in different places than my own character. Events should eventually bring all characters together though on a greater quest so if you need a role play to introduce your human characters and play out a bit of their life and then have them involved in more major things this is probably a good one for you. This role play will be making up quite a lot of minor lore as it were and possibly some major lore so before I start I will need full approval from Fate, because I don't want to go around arrogantly assuming things.

This role play will be set primarily in Africa, although if you want to join in other countries and then be drawn to Africa because of what will happen that is fine. In my brainstorming of this role play I envisioned Africa in a war between three major, corrupt corporations who are striving to capture the continent from its people for their own diamond harvesting projects, caring nothing for the indigenous Africans or their homes.

I'll take a moment to explain the colours.
Cyan (West): Diamo-Tech Industries - a corporation who make heavy use of diamonds in all their profit making products, an organization who are doing nothing to better the decaying situation of Earth.
Brown (Central): Central Africa is still held by the people, who have taken up arms in order to defend their country. They are fighting a losing war however and every day the personal armies of the Corporations push further into Central Africa, slaughtering everyone who resists mercilessly.
Blue (South): Titan Corporation - a huge, corrupt corporation on Earth which deals in 'illegal' slave trade, drugs manufacture, mass-industrial production. They see a great stake in Africa, its people and its natural wealth and will not give up this opportunity.
Olive (East): A branch of the ever expanding Chinese influence in Eastern Europe. With two other companies already embroiled in war with each other and the people of Africa this is seen as the perfect opportunity for China to prosper that much more.
Egypt & Madagascar are neutral and uninvolved.

As you can see this presumes a lot of lore about the current situation on Earth and if it conflicts with Fate's ideas or she just doesn't like it I will have no problems with closing it down.

The role play on my end will consist of my character being hired by Titan Corporation to assassinate other corporation leaders to make it easier for them to conquer Africa. However later things will take a drastic plot change and all character will have an opportunity to come to Africa, if they aren't already there for their own reasons.

Fate, if you approve of this, and I one hundred percent understand if you do not, I have some questions to ask you about the RP which I will PM you.

I have no objections to this at all, Tempest. I think this was a really neat idea that you had, playing off of what information I've already provided everyone with. I really like it! I'll also keep my eyes peeled for a PM then too to answer your questions.

And, of course, I'd be interested in joining this. I just need to work on my characters first, lol.

Great first post, Tempest! I'm sure more people will be interested in doing a RP. I just need to figure out how I'm going to introduce my character(s) (whichever ones I decide to use), since the ones I have so far would probably be up in space or on a different planet.

Well, remember the question I asked you over PM (try not to reveal anything )?Perhaps if you have a character of that species you could play that role?

Or just create a human character!

I could join if you wanted me too, i'm sure i could find a small niche somewhere.
